PowerColor revealed their Vortex III triple fan cooling solution a couple of days ago. Now we know that on which graphics card PowerColor will be using this monster cooling solution. They are using it on their HD 7970 X2 Devil 13 graphics card.
The PowerColor Radeon HD 7970 X2 is a based on dual 28 nm Tahiti HD 7970 chips. It’ll come equipped with 6GB of GDDR5 memory spread across 2x 384-bit memory interfaces. For power needs, it comes with three 8-pin PCI Express connectors which can pull up to 525W of power. The Vortex III cooling solution takes 3 slots in the system. PowerColor will show off this card on Computex next month.
