Xigmatek is planning to launch a new series of chassis in upcoming days; it’s called the Stealth series. Talon is the first chassis that’ll be launched under this new series. It’s a mid-tower chassis that is inspired from latest aeronautical and automotive industrial concepts. Xigmatek is displaying a countdown timer on their website for the official release of the Talon chassis but a bird got us some exclusive information about it.
The Talon comes with a very aggressive looking industrial design in full black color. Front and top the chassis is covered with rubber coating which increases durability and gives a soft touch finish. There are three 5.25” dust-filtered bays on the front along with space for a 200mm fan which comes pre-occupied with a silent 1200RPM fan. The front cover is easy removable without the need of any tools. The top part has power/reset buttons, two USB 3.0 ports and audio in/out jacks which are hidden under a lid. Rest of the space on top is occupied by a glowing Xigmatek logo and a removable black smoked glass which hides fan slots under it. Top can be fitted with one 200mm or two 140/120/90mm fans or a 240mm watercooling radiator.
Interior of Xigmatek Talon looks pretty spacious for a mid-tower case. It has a large CPU cooler retention cut-out, lots of cable management holes, a 140mm fan on back and eight tool-less PCIe slots. In terms of storage space, it comes with eight 3.5” drive bays; five of which can be easily modified to cater 2.5” drives. It can take ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards along with graphics cards up to 330mm long.
Whole chassis is slightly elevated to the front, which according to Xigmatek, helps dramatically in cooling and also provides better visuals with the Windowed version of the Talon.
