Apple has just announced the refreshed 2013 MacBook Air at their WWDC event. The new Air will still feature the same old chassis that we’ve been seeing since 2010 but it gets several major changed under the hood. To being with, it features the all new Intel Haswell processors promising better battery life and improved graphics performance.
As yet, Apple hasnt announced exactly which Haswell CPUs will be available with the new 2013 MacBook Air but it’ll be using the Core i7 and Core i5 ULV parts with HD 5000 series GT3 class graphics. It also gets 801.11ac WiFi support along with 45% faster flash memory as compared to the last generation.
Apple is promising 12 hours battery for the 13-inch model and 9 hours for the 11-inch version as compared to 7 and 5 hours battery timing of last generation MacBook Air. The new 2013 MacBook Air will start from $999 for the 11-inch one and $1099 for the 13-inch one. All of the models will be available from Apple website from today.
