AMD is Expected to Launch HD 8000 Series Graphics Cards in Q2 2013

AMD is expected to launch its latest HD 8000 Series graphics card in Q2 2013 after being delayed due to the poor performance in the third quarter and going through a major reorganization. HD 8000 series will be released to compete against current NVIDIA’s products in the market.

AMD originally planned to release the HD 8000 series in the 4th quarter of 2012 but now it seems we will have to wait a bit more for the launch. On the other hand, NVIDIA is already benefiting from their Kepler series while AMD’s market share in China has dropped to 30%. NVIDIA is already preparing revised version of its Kepler series in order to counter AMD’s HD 8000 series.
