We reported 2 days ago that we will be getting a lot of information about NVIDIA’s upcoming beast GeForce GTX Titan in the upcoming days and we were not wrong. Today, a Danish retailer listed an ASUS GeForce GTX Titan graphics card on its website and available for pre-orders. It also shows that the first shipment of the new flagship GPU will arrive on February 18th 2013.
The listing on the retailer’s website does not reveal much more than what we already know but it does confirms that GeForce GTX Titan is launching soon. The part number mentioned on the website is ASUS GeForce GTX Titan 6GB (GTXTITAN-6GD5), it clearly mentions that the GPU will come with 6GB GDDR5 memory although the 384-bit memory interface is still not confirmed. Rest of the specifications include PCI-Express 3.0 support along with display outputs: Two DVI ports, one HDMI port and one Display port.
There is one thing that came as a shock and it was the price listed on the retailer’s website. The price mentioned is 7,276 kr (US $1300) which is much more than what was expected but this is the European price with extremely high tax rates so we can expect a much lower price in US at the time of its launch. The retailer has already been taken down which adds more suspense to the drama.
