Maximus VII Impact’s Impact Power II card is equipped with a full-scale 8 phase VRM design with top-notch components. It features Japanese-made 10k black metallic capacitors for 20% greater extreme temperature endurance and 5 times more life span than regular capacitors. And 60A BlackWing chokes along with NexFET MOSFETS deliver loss-less power at very high efficiency.

The Impact Control II card houses the Q-code readout, KeyBot, SoundStage, BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS buttons. At the back of the Impact Control II we can find the Impact CoolHUB which features two 4-pin headers and the LN2 switch. Yes! Maximus VII Impact can handle extreme LN2 overclocking as well. Additionally, the I/O shield also consists of mPCIe Combo IV which comes with a pre-installed dual-band 802.11 ac WiFi module and a PCIe 3.0 M.2 x4 slot for SSDs.

Lastly, Maximus VII Impact offers the best gaming audio in small factor design thanks to the SupremeFX Impact II module. SupremeFX Impact II employs new isolation technologies to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and is supported by a new software suite, Sonic Studio. Sonic Studio allows virtual 7.1 surround sound through a stereo headset and controls Reverb, Bass Boost, Equalizer, Voice Clarity and Smart EQ.
