Earlier today, ASUS unveiled their second generation Transformer Pad Infinity with much better display and faster processor. The 10.1-inch Android tablet comes with NVIDIA’s latest 1.9 GHz Tegra 4 SoC which has four Cortex-A15 CPU cores and 72 GeForce graphics cores in it. It has 2GB of RAM to accompany the processor. The display now features a much higher 2560×1600 resolution through its IPS panel. Other features include 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 1.2 mega-pixel front camera, USB 3.0 port, 32GB storage along with an SD card slot, WiFi with Miracast and Bluetooth. It also supports 4K ultra HD display output via its HDMI port. As with other Transformer products, ASUS has also prepared a dock for the Transformer Pad Infinity. The dock has full QWERTY keyboard, additional ports and extra battery.
Pricing and availability:
ASUS will start selling the Transformer Pad Infinity this fall for $399 or $499 with the dock.
