In my opinion Colorful wins the crown for the best graphics card once again with its new iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan. The company has just released the 3D renders of the card yet but one can safely say that its going to be a beast. The iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan comes with triple fan plus water cooling tri-slot hybrid cooling solution with an appealing red and black color scheme. It will be based on a custom PCB similar to the one we saw in their previous GeForce GTX 780 Ti custom GPU and will feature NVIDIA’s flagship GK 110-425 B1 chip.
Colorful iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan
Colorful iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan will be equipped with GK 110-425 B1 GPU featuring 2880 CUDA cores, 240 TMUs and 48 ROPs. It will come with either 3 GB or 6GB GDDR5 memory with a 384-bit memory interface. Further specifications are not revealed yet but based on the previous Kudan GPUs it is safe to assume that it will be clocked higher than any other variant available in the market. The back I/O panel also shows a BIOS switch which will activate the Turbo profile on the GPU.
Colorful iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan will support 4-way SLI and a custom PCB with a beastly VRM design for further overclocking potential. The GPU competes with EVGA’s Classfied variants, MSI Lightning editions and ASUS’s ROG editions. The recently revealed ASUS ROG GTX 780 Poseidon which is also equipped with a hybrid cooling solution but a slower GTX 780 GPU will be no match to what Colorful has to offer. iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan will make use of two 8 pin PCIe power connectors, since it will be a limited edition GPU the TDP will have no limits.
The only drawback of iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan will be the tri-slot design which means only two of them can be SLIed together due to the limitations of the slots unless you buy PCIe slot extenders. The cooler includes one big aluminium fin stack with six copper heat pipes passing through it being cooled by three large fans. Underneath the aluminium fin stack, there is a full cover water block as well which will be used if the user opts for water cooling. Two G1/4 threads are provided to connect the GPU with a custom water cooling loop.
Colorful iGame GTX 780 Ti Kudan will feature two DVI ports, one HDMI and one DisplayPort. It is sad that the card will not retail in US and Europe so its highly unlikely that we will see it run against the big guns especially the upcoming EVGA K|NGP|N edition GPU which is still a mystery.
