The flagship GIGABYTE X99 SOC Force revealed; comes with an OC panel

We have one more teaser from GIGABYTE and this times its the flagship SOC Force motherboard. GIGABYTE just revealed its X99 SOC Force motherboard for LGA 2011-3 HEDT processors. It comes with an orange and black color scheme with dozens of overclocking features and not to forget a monstrous VRM design for extreme overclocks. X99 SOC Force also includes SATA Express ports and M.2 slot.


The OC Monster: GIGABYTE X99 SOC Force

The SOC Force motherboards are top of the line boards offered by GIGABYTE to accommodate the never ending needs of overclockers. The specially designed OC panel gives enthusiasts all the options they need for on-the-fly overclocking without the need to access the BIOS. At the heart of the motherboard we find the LGA 2011-3 socket surrounded by 8 DDR4 DIMM slots supporting quad-channel memory.

GIGABYTE X99 SOC Force features four PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. In terms of storage, there are six SATA 6 GB/s ports and two SATA Express ports. A M.2 slot is also hidden next to the large X99 PCH heatsink. There are plenty of USB 3.0 and 2.0 headers along with many fan headers. We expect a 12 phase VRM design with UltraDurable components.

The left side of the PCB includes a separate PCB for the Sound Core 3D audio featuring AMP-UP technology with filter caps. X99 SOC Force also features upgradeable OP-Amp technology for audio enthusiasts. The audio PCB is separated with a thin orange LED strip. The availability and pricing of X99 SOC Force is not yet revealed but it will debut by the end of August before the launch of Intel’s Haswell-E HEDT processors.
