Google introduced Chromebook Pixel with multi-touch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1700 (239 ppi). To make it even more interesting, Google is offering 1TB of Google Storage for three years free of cost with the Chromebook, this means consumers will get $1800 worth of storage free with a $1300 Ultrabook.
Chromebook Pixel is powered by a Dual-Core Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 32GB SSD with Chrome OS, 720p HD Webcam, back-lit keyboard and all other usual features such as WiFi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 ports. It also comes with LTE support with specific models. The unqiue feature of the Chromebook is its 12.85 inch 1700p display with Gorilla Glass multi-touch screen. Since it lacks a data drive, Google offers 1TB of Google Storage without any additional charges.
If you buy the 1TB Google Storage separately then it will cost you $50/month and a total cost of $1800 for three years. Its more than enough for all your documents, pictures and videos. Compared with current Chromebooks by Samsung, Acer and HP, consumers will get 10 times more storage along with 12 free Gogo in-air internet passes and 100mb/month free mobile internet from Verizon for 2 years with the LTE model.
