HIS is hard at work preparing Radeon HD 7970 based on their new cooling solution, IceQX 2. It will feature all solid capacitors, 6-phase PWM power design, the card will feature a dual fan configuration accompanied by three 6mm and two 8mm nickel-plated copper heat pipe and the two fans have a diameter of 112mm. HIS are claiming this to be 17 ℃ cooler and 15dB quieter than AMD reference cooler.
