Intel has decided to retire Pentium E5800, E6700 and E6800 CPUs later this year to make room for new cooler and faster processors. These three dual core processors are based on 45-nm fabrication process and are mainly targeted at budget users.
Intel will keep on taking orders till 23rd November, 2011. Boxed processors will continue to ship till 30th December while tray SKUs will ship until stock lasts.
