Invest2Innovate has just announced four startups for its 5th batch of annual accelerator. These startups will get an opportunity to grow and accelerate their businesses for four months starting from September. i2i Accelerator will provide resources, networks, support, investment and guidance through 35 local mentors who are successful Pakistani entrepreneurs and industry experts themselves
This year’s theme is health and nutrition and following are the selected startups:
- Ammi Service – a startup using mobile technology to address maternal/infant mortality rates.
- Jaan Pakistan – is introducing clean cook stoves in Pakistan to save lives in rural, off-grid communities.
- Grit 3D – they’re making a functional 3d printed prosthetic hand to enable and empower people with amputations.
- Asaan Doctor – a simplified, affordable, scalable and privacy ensuring web+SMS based medical platform for underserved communities.
The four month program includes six in-person weekends in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi where startups will get a chance to interact and attent targeted sessions led by the mentors and team of i2i. The startups are also eligible for grants of £10,000 each.
