Motorola seems to be on a roll these days. They launched Moto G and Moto X last year, both of which were well received by both critics and customers. The Moto G is probably the highest selling budget Android phone right now. For $199, it is the best Android experience you can get and its really popular in developing countries like Brazil, India and Mexico. According to a latest leak, Motorola has now prepared Moto E; this is an even slimmer and compact phone with an affordable price tag.
Moto E is reportedly a 4.3-inch smartphone with a 720p display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Motorola has slightly decreased the screen size while the core count is decreased by 2 as compared to Moto G. Other specifications of Moto E include 4GB storage, 5 megapixel camera and 1900 mAh battery. It’ll probably come with expandable storage. Android 4.4 KitKat will come standard with this phone along with Motorola’s enhancements.
Now what’s really special about Moto E is that its extremely thin. The Moto G is 11.2mm thick while the Moto E is almost half of that measuring at 6.2mm only. That’s even thinner than an iPhone 5s. This will make the Moto E a pretty attractive for people who want a stylish device but on budget. Motorola’s Razr kind of feel from old days will probably come back with this phone. It is expected to retail for around same price as Moto G i.e. $199 and it will probably be released in a couple of weeks.
