Nokia 2 launches with 5-inch display and 2 day battery life

HMD Global has just launched the Nokia 2, their most affordable Android smartphone yet. It comes with a 5-inch LTPS HD display with a screen resolution of 720×1280. Under the hood, its running a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with microSD card.

In terms of imaging capabilities, the Nokia 2 comes with a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there as 5MP selfie shooter. Major highlight of the phone is its battery. It comes packing a 4100mAh battery which according to Nokia should last around 2 days.

Nokia 2 comes running Android Nougat while the Oreo update is confirmed to be coming. It also features Google Assistant.

The entry level phone is expected to go on sale in November for about PKR 12,000. It will be available in three colors: copper, black, and white.
