NVIDIA has just released new GeForce 310.64 beta drivers, featuring the same performance boost as 310.54 and 310.61 beta drivers. The new drivers are specifically launched for Far Cry 3 which is due to be released tomorrow in Europe and next Tuesday in North America.
GeForce 310.64 beta drivers bring about 37.6% performance improvements in Far Cry 3 using different system configurations. Far Cry 3 is a highly anticipated game title which will feature intense graphics; NVIDIA has also included the already released SLI profile in the new drivers allowing multi-GPU users to get the maximum out of their gaming setups.
NVIDIA tested the game at maximum settings including SSAO Ambient Occlusion, 8xMSAA and Transparency Supersampling set to “Standard” at a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Below is a chart of the frame rates which are expected from GeForce GTX 670, GeForce GTX 680 and GeForce GTX 690 with these new beta drivers.
