NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Final Specifications Revealed

All the confusion about the upcoming GeForce GTX 760’s specifications has been cleared as VideoCardz has revealed the final specifications of the card along with NVIDIA’s GPU plans for the year 2013. Most of the GTX 760 specifications resemble to the earlier leaks we reported along the GPU-Z screenshot.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 final specifications

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 final specifications reveal that it is based on a cut-down version of GK104 silicon with 1152 CUDA cores, 32 ROPs and 96 TMUs as mentioned in the earlier leaks. It features 2GB GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit memory interface, 4GB models will also be offered by manufacturers. The GTX 760 will feature NVIDIA’s latest GPU Boost 2.0 technology, which increases the Core clock according to the temperature. The GPU will clocked at 980 MHz with a GPU Boost of up to 1033 MHz. The only disappointment comes from the memory clock which is clocked at 1502 MHz unlike the earlier leaks which reported 1750 MHz.

GeForce GTX 760 is powered by two 6-pin PCIe power connectors and has a max TDP of 170W. Display Outputs include HDMI, DVI-I, DVI-D and DisplayPort.  The GTX 760 will be using the same reference cooler as seen on GTX 660 Ti and GTX 650 Ti. It will replace the current Kepler based GTX 660 Ti and will compete against AMD Radeon HD 7950.

As mentioned in our earlier report, GeForce GTX 760 will be announced on June 25, 2013 but there is no official or confirmed word about the pricing as yet.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Performance

At the moment, the only performance scores available for GTX 760 are 3DMark 11 performance preset scores which were leaked two days ago. VideoCardz has promised to reveal the performance of the GPU by tomorrow, so lets just wait and see what it offers in terms of performance.

NVIDIA GeForce 700 Series line-up for 2013

NVIDIA is not planning any other graphics card in its GeForce GTX 700 series after the launch of GTX 760 for now. It means that the company will not a release a new GPU until the forth quarter of 2013. GTX 780, GTX 770 and GTX 760 will make the front-line of GTX 700 series. Maybe NVIDIA wants to wait and see what AMD has to offer in its ‘Volcanic Islands’ HD 8000 series GPUs and if there is a need for a new graphics card then the company will launch it. Sadly, there is no dual-GPU GeForce 700 series card in the foreseeable future.
