NVIDIA GK104 Transistor Count and Die-Size Details

Guys over at 3DCenter.org have compiled some key specifications of the GK104, transistor count and die-size. The die-area of GK104 is at 294mm ² and transistor count at 3540 million (3.54 billion), TDP of the GK104 is now at 195 watts. This has resulted in a transistor density of 12 million/mm², which as you can see from the chart is slightly higher than AMD Tahiti but lower than AMD Pitcairn. If GeForce GTX 680 does indeed come up faster than AMD Radeon HD 7900 series than NVIDIA has definitely made a proficient architecture this time around unlike their Fermi disaster.
