Packages Mall has partnered up with Careem for the convenience for mall-goers. A ceremony took place at Mocca, Packages Mall earlier today where both companies signed an MoU. Under this partnership, the gate 4 of Packages Mall has been reserved for Careem. Under this agreement, Careem rides will only be able to access the gate 4. This will not only help in streamlining the experience of Careem users but will also help Packages Mall better manage the traffic. Additionally, a Careem booth has been setup at the gate 4 from where customers can book their rides.
Prior to this, the ride sharing services were usually not allowed to enter Packages Mall to pick up the riders and they had to walk all the way through parking to the main gates to get into their ride.
This partnership will really benefit riders as public places like malls, airports and residential colonies are usually not welcoming to ride sharing services which ultimately becomes a cause of inconvenience for riders and loss of revenue for captains. Careem and Uber should form such partnership with other popular places as well like Emporium Mall, Fortress Stadium etc.
