With each passing day the Galaxy Note 3 Neo becomes a reality. It started off as a small rumour a few months ago when the idea of a low cost Galaxy Note 3 was brought up. Needless to say, everyone was quite skeptical of such a device. Galaxy Note has always been the crown jewel of Samsung’s phone offerings, so to somehow downgrade it to offer to a lower budget market seemed wrong. But this is Samsung we’re talking about. They’ll try anything they can think of. And it looks as if the Galaxy Note 3 Neo is all but officially confirmed.
The picture above shows an alleged press shot of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Despite the lower cost, it looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 3. It even has the stitched leather back. On the specs front this phone will have a 5.55-inch 720p Super AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage and a microSD slot, a 3,100 mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and Android 4.3. It will also have support for S-Pen.
According to Sammobile, the phone is already on pre-order in Belgium for a price of €599. That price seems quite high for a phone that is suppose to be mid-ranged. Officially the phone is expected to be announced at MWC next month so we’ll hear more concrete details about pricing then.
