Razer Launches Kraken 7.1 Surround Sound USB Gaming Headset

At Gamescon 2013, Razer has introduced a new and improved headset in its audio product line, the Razer Kraken 7.1 Surround Sound USB. It is built on the same standards set by its predecessor but with customizable virtual 7.1 surround sound and a new digital microphone.

The Razer Kraken 7.1 USB headset comes with an enhanced virtual 7.1 surround sound engine capable of delivering ultra-low latency resulting in a 360 degree surround sound experience. All this is possible through the advance engine embedded in Razer Synapse 2.0 software which allows users to customize the sound according to their needs. The users can tweak and position each surround channel, adjust bass levels and balance incoming voice audio. The new and improved digital microphone delivers precision audio quality with the help of an optimized algorithm resulting in crystal clear clear voice chat, better frequency response, sensitivity and signal to noise ratio. It also comes with a mic button and a LED indicator.
