Samsung is still riding high on the popularity and success of its recently released Galaxy S5. But the company has another product that it needs to unveil this year. No it’s not the heavily leaked Galaxy S5 Prime. It is the Galaxy Note 4. Galaxy Note is a product Samsung is comfortable with, they are the ones who started it back in 2011 and for all intents and purposes they’re the only one who has done a decent job of this form factor. Even though we’re still months away from the Galaxy Note 4 release, some information has already begun to leak out.
Galaxy Note 4 is allegedly going to come with a 5.7-inch screen with 1440p resolution. That is just a little over 500PPI. Each Galaxy Note device has seen a 0.2-inch increment in screen size. The first one had a 5.3-inch screen, then it was a 5.5-inch panel on the Note 2 and then it was a 5.7-inch panel on the Galaxy Note 3. It looks as if this is as far as Samsung is willing to go. There are tons of devices out there with 6-inch or larger screens, but apparently Samsung feels 5.7-inch is where it’s at.
The phablet is also rumoured to come with a YOUM display. This means the edges of the display will be curved. It will allow users to view the notifications on the phone from an angle. This is still a big what-if right now so we’re not quite sure what to expect. Expect to hear more about the Galaxy Note 4 in the coming months.
