Samsung recently announced their 2016 flagships; the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. These don’t look much different from the last year’s models but under that glass and metal surface, Samsung has changed many little things that make the S7 and S7 edge way better than previous models. Another change Samsung brought this year is in the sizes of the phones. In 2015, both the S6 and S6 edge had same sizes but this the S7 comes with a 5.1-inch display and the S7 edge comes with a 5.5-inch display.
Under the hood, both the S7 and S7 edge come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 as CPU depending on the region. Both the phones back 4GB of RAM and microSD slot with support for up to 200GB memory cards. In terms of imaging capabilities, there is 12 megapixel shooter at the back with LED flash and optical image stabilization. The camera is also capable of shooting 4K video. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel camera for video calling. Another major improvement Samsung made is in the battery department, the Galaxy S7 now comes with a 3000 mAh battery, whereas the S7 edge comes packing a 3600 mAh battery.
