The Galaxy Note series in Samsung’s lineup of phones and tablets is by far their most interesting offering. Samsung was the one that brought back the sylus and introduced the idea of large screens to mainstream audience. Over the past few years, the Note series have gained immense popularity. So far Samsung offers Note phones and tablets. The Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch screen and the Note 10.1 comes with a 10-inch. Now according to reports, Samsung is prepping a Galaxy Note Pro 12.2.
The reported specs of Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is a 12.2-inch screen with 2560 x 1600 resolution, Snapdragon 800 quad-core CPU and 3GB RAM. The tablet will be powered by a big 9500mAh battery. Of course we have to wonder the utility of such a huge tablet, in a market that is now increasingly biased towards 7 to 8 inch ones. Samsung has shown that it knows how to make use of the increased screen real estate. And we have no reason to doubt Samsung’s ability to make use of the extra 2.2-inch that this particular tablet will provide.
Along with the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Samsung is also reportedly prepping a 10 and 8 inch version of the same tablet. The expected month of announcement is February.
