At first glance, SteelSeries 5Hv3 stand out with the an all-black color scheme with a slight touch of orange here and there. On the exterior, we see SteelSeries branding on the headband with two small logos on each side. Don’t be deceived with the simple appearance since it packs a whole bunch of features inside. The leather ear cushions not only act as a noise reduction but also improve comfort for long gaming sessions. The headband is also equipped with extra-padding of soft leather for maximum comfort.

SteelSeries 5Hv3 come with swappable cable for use with PC, Mac, smartphones and tablets. Moving on to the technical bits, the headset comes with tournament grade audio drivers capable of delivering a frequency response ranging from 16-28000 Hz on impedance of 40 Ohm with sensitivity of 110 dB at 1KHz. The headset features a retractable uni-directional mic having a frequency response of 75-16000 Hz at 2k Ohm with sensitivity of -38 dB.
