When HTC launched the One a few months back in February, it was an attempt by the company to restore its lost glory. A glory that had eluded them for over a year. Unlike previous efforts, the One was truly a brilliant piece of engineering. HTC left no stone unturned to make sure this is the device you’d want if you desire the best of the best. Only time will tell if they succeeded. For now they need to ensure they offer similar quality devices in various price points. Enter HTC One Mini.
You might think the idea here is the same as Galaxy S Mini series, and you’re right, it is. What HTC One Mini achieves is basically the same level of features as the One, but in a much smaller package. The device is not officially announced yet but so many pictures and nearly all specs have leaked. The only thing that remains is the formality of officially announcing it.
So what can we expect from this device? A 4.3-inch screen with 720p resolution. A dual core CPU but with 2GB RAM. The camera is also rumoured to be the same Ultrapixel 4MP shooter As for the design, it’s nearly the same as One but obviously a bit smaller. Whether HTC uses the same high quality finish is yet to be known.
The expected release date of the device is sometime later this year. No specifics are known.
